Brief Description: Access door to intrument panel- 4
Spent 3 more hours on this access door today. Clamp doubler in position on fwd bulkhead. Mark for screw holes for #8 screws and plate nuts. Ended up with 9 holes! Too many?? Drilled the doubler #40 first then reclamp in place and match drilled the bulkhead. WWhile it was clecoed, I used a rotary file in drill to file the opening down flush with the doubler inside edge. Finished up with fine file and corner rounding. Will finish sand later befor final install
Removed doubler and clamped the door in place beneath the doubler on bench and then match drilled the door to doubler. Clecoed the door and doubler in place on the bulkhead and final drilled the screw holes to #19. Removed and deburred
Drilled the Piano hinge halves #40
Pilot holes are drilled thru the door and doubler for screws and nutplates
The door and double were match drilled to #19 on the bulkhead to match
