Brief Description:  Fuel line- valve to rt tank, Redo valve to filter

Today was devoted to the dreaded fuel lines again. I spent a good deal of time making templates from flex wire and then letting Brenda make templates since she has more patience some times. Then there is the back and forth fitting bending fitting etc...scrapping and trying againetc.. I realy must be doing something wrong or there is a better tube bending device out there.

1. Made the fuel line from valve to right tank 1st. This was a one time try today anyway, not counting the previous try last week. However, I did need to remove it several times and tweek it to fit. That was about 2 hours!

2. The valve to filter line didnt fit now that the rt tank line was in place. Just as I had feared. Shouold of gone in order as per instruction. Had to redo it! Very difficult bends (at least with the tool I use). Finaly after about another 2 hours I got it.

3. Installed the left tank line made last week( it still fits believe it or not!) Installed the rubber grommets in each side skin.

4. Start the final line from the filter to the fuel pump ( I already did the fuel pump to firewall line). This line must go through the gear tower and be bent in place. I got it flared on the aft end and attached ok to the filter but it appears I cut it too dang short. So this too will be a redo! I have enough tube for one more try tomorrow.

Note. I bought some EZ turn (aka Fuel Lube) and will use some on the male treads when I'm sure of the fit.
