Brief Description:  Stall warner assembly

!. Today started off with temps in the hangar at 90 and will climb to 96 inside b4 the end of the afternoon. Nice!

2. I tried to find out where the fuel float on left wing stops at top and bottom. I used another builders technique here. Put flashlight and mirror inside tank, tie string to cork float and run other end out the drain tube, attach float and access plate to tank, look in through drain hole and pull string to up stop and release etc. No clanking so I know its not bottoming or topping out. It also looks to be quite close to tank skins top and bottom. I removed and bent float arm several times until I got clanking on metal at which point I backed it off a bit untill no clank again. This is the best I think I'll be able to get it. Will do the same on other wing when its on the table and then it will be prseal time and closing.

Stall warner. Wasnt going to install this at first but changed my mind. I probably will use a cut off switch for times when not wanted-loops and rolls for example!
1. Several parts were first edge prepped and holes were drilled to final size then deburred countersunk and or dimpled.
2. plate nuts rivited on to the access doubler and then clecoed to acces hatch for fit.
3. Removed the access assembly and will rivit into place after the stall warner asembly is installed. Need all the room in this hole I can get.
4.Clecoed in the bracket for stallwarner assembly to wing and final drilled
5. Drilled provided guide holes to #12 and then removed metal in between the two holes with the dremel. Spent quite a bit of time with mini files geting this slot in wing even and looking nice.
6. Assembled all the parts except for the wires which I can fabricate next time of the stall warner which will be ready to attach to the bracket iside wing.

Next visit I will fab the wires, rivit the bracket to inside wing, attach the stall warnewr assembly to the bracket and then rivit the hatch doubler in place. That will conclude this and then the landing/taxi lights will be started.
