Brief Description: Pitot flaring, Bottom skin work
With my brand spanking new flaring tool, i made some practice flares on some short pieces of AT032-1/4. When satisfied with my work , I flared the Pitot tube and the pitot line. Conected the two via the connecting harware. I will stow the pitot tube until wings mounted.
adjusted the fuel pick up tube so that it lines up inside the antislip bracket and then rivited in place. the access plates and the fuelsender should all be ready for proseal and final assembly when I get the nerve.
Drilled, deburr, dimple the two access panels and also the bottom skins where they attach. Rivit holes for the plate nuts were countersunk for the smaller head NAS rivits.
Clecoed the bottom skin to wing after laying the wing topside down on my workbenches. Match drilled all holes. Removed the skin panel and deburred everything. Will need to dimpke the skin and ribs next visit.
