Brief Description:  engine start two

no pics!
The temps were high 30s this morning but the winds were not real bad. So ipulled the rv8 out and secured from moving and got the engine started after 3 tries. I think the cold overnight temps to 4o in the hangar or slightly lower and then the cold breeze into the induction were enough to hamper an easy start. I did not install a primer system and that makes it more difficult to start when real cold.
Got it started and with my Dynon EMS input for rpm changed from 2 to 1 I now get what looks to me like proper RPM readings. About 600 to 800 rpm at absolute idle but thge engine was about to quit and so the idel may need adjusting. With slight power added it seems to be idleing at 1000 rpm as expectedf. I ran the engine for 5 minutes noting invreasing oil and CHT etc as expected but nothing close to high end of range. The fuel pressure has me puzzled as it was normal on first start but on high end at 6 today. Dont know if the extra throttle pumps and extra cranking had anything to do with it.
Put the airp[lane back to bed and closed the door. Checked for leaks and was not able to find a single one. That is good!

I also spent some time this am getting a form from Vans signed in front of a notary so that I can get a bill of sale from them. This starts the paperwork process I guess.
