Brief Description: RT TANK FUEL FLOW AND LEAK TESTING CHECKED
No pics today I checked for fuel leaks from fuel just sitting in tank. none found
Ran fuel pump with selecxtor on empty and then when fuel stop verified, I switched to the right tank and ran fuel pump until fuel was flowing. This time I didnt bother with measuring fuel colected and doing the fuel/time ratio for fuel flow as i did with the left tank. This time I monitoed the fuel flow from red cube data on the dynon. I noted that the flow stabilized at 25 gal/.hr. Close to what I had already calculated from other tank.
I secured the fuel hose to the carb and then activated the fuel pump and concentrated on the readings for the fuel pressure this time. I noted that the presure maxed out at 5 psi and then when pump turned off would drop off slowly to around 2.5 psi and then hold stweady for around 8 minutes.
Checked fuel line connections for signs of leakage. none found.
