Taped lens covers on wing tips real tight making sure the edges are as even as i can get them.
Drilled the corner screw holes with a regular drill bit #40 and then removed covers. Drilled the holes made in lens covers up to 5/32 with a step drill and deburred
Drilled the holes made in fiberglass to #30 Used nut plate jug to make plate nut rivit holes and drilled and counter sunk for rivits Drilled the screw hole up to #27 for #6 screw Rivit on the nu plates Counter sunk the plexi holes for tinnerman washers and installed the lens covers after cleaning them
Note: One of the lens covers came out in the end with some pucker and and im not happy with it. The other one is great. So..... Guess Ill be ordering another lens and will get to start again. Bet I can get the next one done in a couple hours though now that I ve done it once.
