Brief Description:  Feather in the windscreen fairing and radius sandi

I have been sanding all day! First problem is I decided I would rather have the front lower windscreen fairing feather into the top skin. That took awhile to do. In the process I also scuffed the skin about another 1/4 inch away for either a trandition layer of epoxy or maybe just paint.. I dont know yet But I feathered it some.

I also went all along the inside edge trying to sand it back slightly to get that pesky sliver of red vynyltape out all over. In that process I managed to scuff the windscreen on average 1/8 inch all around. I think this could be a good thing because Im told that painters will often paint past the fairing edge on to the glass slightly anyway. Plus, I might put a bead of epoxy all around later to make a smooth transition to the glass.

The inside radius corners also took forever! I had unsightly red tape burried underneath and could be seen from inside. So that sanding process gave me some hand cramps for sure. I also managed to scratch up the plexi in that area in the process. My plan to fix the plexi there is to sand it down with progressive grades of finer paper and then try my scratch remover kit possibly. I will leave some for epoxy and paint edge however.
