Brief Description:  Marked areas of canopyskirt that are too tight aga

removed the masking tape from canopy and cleaned the dust of fuse cone
I also spot sprayed some primer on the bulkhead around the back seat that got messed up while I was cleaning off the packing tape residue.

Put canopy back on the fuse rail and test fit with windscreen fairing.

Sanded some under the fairing that overlaps the skirt when closed to reduce areas that were rubbing

I noted that the rt side skirt to fairing looked nice but was a bit tight. Same with the left side though the left side neds some filler to improve the look. Dont know if I will work on that now or wait for awhile and move on now. I do need to loosen the fit however which can be done with some sanding under the lip.

The skirt to the fuse cone is still binding in some areas and this hampers the closure smoothness. It will also rub any paint applied later. So this will need some sanding finess.

with canopy closed, I slid a piece of standard printer paper alonf the inside edge of skirt and wherever it stopped sliding I marked the spot with painters tape. Theses are the areas that need some sanding underneath to get a slight gap which will then ease the closing and hopefully allow room for paint. Might need more than a paper thickness but Im starting with that and will improve again prior to having final paint done.

Will work on ths sanding and then the canopy handle tomorrow
