Brief Description: Sanded vertical splice gap and top edge
I had previously made a slit in the fab to align the fab to snorkle vertically. I glased over the slit on the outside of the fab and when it was dry added epoxy with flox to fill the gap on inside. Today I spent way too much time sanding down all this mess to a nice edge and surface on inside and out.
I then clecoed in the mounting plate and scribed a cut line so that the fiberglass will be even with the metal edges all the way around.
Cut off excess with dremel and sanded smooth
I need to determine if Any more needs to be removed from front before moving on to cutting in the door for carb heat.
FAB vertical slit with 8oz glass and cotton flox sanded down
top edge trimmed and sanded even with metal top plate
