Brief Description:  windscreen fairing sanding -1

Peeled off the peel ply from yesterday from around windscreen.
Sanded most of the day it seems just on the windscreen rolbar. I had overlapped some of the glass edges over the electrical tape as well as some cotton flox. This simply means that Lots of sanding is required to get the fairing edge down level with the tape but not sand thru the tape. That means its done mostly by hand slowly.
The 1st photo shows the sanding on the right side and the edge showing on the tape. I started on the right side and by the time I started on the left side, my tecnighe was better and so were the results.

After I had the bow edge sanded to where I could see it and the rest sanded smoothe with 60 grit, I mixed some micro balloons and epoxy to fill in the voids and areas that needed some filler along the tape edge. Used black pigment again because I notived that I could areas needing some black from the inside. Squeegeed on the micro all around and covered in peel ply. Im getting low on peel ply so I hope I can get the bulk of this done before I run out.
