Removed the FAB from mount. I had measured the aprox amt that it need to be on the lower edge and marked it after I removed it.
Marked an aft line as far back as to not be in the way of a door and drilled two reiief holes on the bottom.
Cut a slit in both sides down to the reief holes.
Reattached to the upper plate with clecos and clamped the front end into the new position.
Reinstall the lower cowl and checked fit. Looks ok to me though it probably is too far to the right. Not so sure Ill do anything about that and plan to make the fibergalss glass in line up to it instead.
