I first checked the fit of my inspection panel with the OAT probe installed. It slipped on just fine and the mounting srews were all still aligned. This set up will allow the cover to be removed without disturbing the probe. I put all 3 inspection plates on and loose installed all the screws
Started sorting out the two bags of hardware for the filter air box and bypass door.
Read some of the plans and reviewed the dwgs.
Removed the carburator drain plug and replaced with the supplied plug. Used fuel lube on this and a dab of torq seal. The other bolt type plug interfears with the FAB mounting plate.
Made a template fromn paper to go around the fuel drain boss so that the plate can lay flush to carb bottom. Traced basic with on to the mounting plate. will start cutting later.
PPolished the edges of the mounting plate and deburred the screw and bolt holes
OAT probe cured in place and cover easily goes on and off
Carb fuel drain plugs swapped out
Prep the FAB mounting plate. starting cut out traced on
