Brief Description: replace master switch and relay
Removed the master relay and the master switch and reinstalled the new ones that I purchased. They didnt looked damaged from the wiring error but I didnt take any chances and just replaced them. After all hooked back up, I applied some liquid electrical tape to the master switch lugs that are adjacent to the the line alt cicuit breaker. I also applied some to my shunt. Have not used this stuff before so Im just giving it a try. I need a better solution to cover the shunt however.
Dis another inspection of all wires that were close to the ones I burned up and once satisfied, I did another power up test. This time NO SMOKE!!! Panel all lit back up as well as the radios etc.
Hooked up the Dynon ems to computer for updates but again, NO GO. Cant seem to get a driver installed properly or something. The computer doesnt recognize the USB serial converter every tiome I try. Even brought my home computer which didnt do any better!. Im stumped.
