Brief Description:  EGT/CHT wire crimping

I first cut the egt and cht wires to the aprox length that I need. I then stripped the outer brown insultor back about 1.5 inch from the 8 wires. This was kinda tiedious since the wires are flat at this point and dont just strip with the standard stripper. Needed to cut with a box cutter and then strip off. I inspected for nicks in the insulation of the two wires incased in this brown insulator and glad I did so with a magnifying glass. Two wires were exposed due to cutting thru their insulators! I first fixed those wires by covering with shrink tube.
Moving on, I stripped off the Ends of the now 16 wires to a length appropriate for the crimp terminals. I had made a template wire to use as a gauge which made it easier.
I then cut a series of shrink tube in three different diameters to protect and support the wires with the connectors and the removed brown insulator that was removed.
Finally, I crimpped on the 8 male spade type terminals and then applied heat to shrink the shrink tube. Came out nice. Still have to do the same to ride side egt and cht wires. Time consuming task when you throw in the shrink tube but at least it looks good.

Installed the P5000 oil sump quick drain and safety wired to block

Started on installing oil cooler but ran into fit issues... will look at again tomorrow.
