I installed the fwd exhaust and just placed the heat muff in position. I added some mouse milk to the joints and antiseize compound to the mounting harware. The gaskets are in as well and the harware is just finger tight. I wanted to see if I will be able to get other things done around it without needing to remove it over and over. Not sure why the ram air intake to heat muff is on oposite side of airplane from the intake in baffle. Spent first 30 min just trying to figure out how it is to go on, And then how to get the nuts on to a couple of studs that are kinda hard to reach. Now that Ive been thru the process of this part, Im sure I can install in a fraction of the time.
