Brief Description: Parking brake rebuild and reinstall
Recieved my new BUNA-N rubber o-rings in the mail. Lube up the cam and new O-rings in brake fluid and then carefully installed them onto the cam. Installed the cam slowly and carefully into the piston body and assembled. Tested by blowing air thru the valve assembly with lever in open and then closed. Loosely installed the assembly in plane. Filled with 5606 fluid and tested brakes. Good! Tested parking brake...Good too! The neat thing about this Parking brake is you can set either brake alone or both together. Just move lever to closed and then depress one or broth brakes and release...Presto!
I have no evidence of leaks but Im not bleeding air out until I give it some time. Will check for weeps etc tomorrow. But its looking good so far!
