Brief Description:  upper cowling fitting with shims

I had made some shim strips yesterday and so today I wanted to see how the upper cowl fits with the shims in place as well as the baggage door shim and flange stops. This required removing a whole bunch of clecos aagain so that the door could be installed with all the spacers and stops and then clecoing all together with the hinges and cowl spacers. Wow! takes a long time!! But I got it done and was happy with how it looks. At the most, som slight build up on the cowling edge to be perfect flush with the skin is all I need to do if at all.

The upper cowl to firewall edge is real nice on most but requires further attention on the right side in the radius where I dont have any gap at all. The rest is about 1./32 and looks even thru out.

The door needs attention as well. Gap is minimal up by the hinge on the sides but tapers to no gap by the time it reaches the bottom edge. So some sanding and file work is in order for it

Not part of the cowl but I moved an adel clamp that holds cabin heat cable about two inches to the side so that it doesnt hit the baggage floor siffner. Installed the floor in place foor looks and to check fit.
