Brief Description:  brake leak fix

No pics
Got soap and water mixed and in a spray bottle and set compressor to 15 lbs.
Had brenda attach air to my make shift test port at the brake resivoir and I sprayed the fittings at the master cylinders. Both leaking big time at the top fittings where the plastic lines attach and also the right master cylinder bottom fitting with steel braided line.

Removed both plastic lines again and removed brass sleeves, sniped off short piece of damaged line and reasembled along with fresh plastic inserts and then making sure that the lines bottom out in the cylinder welsl and then carefully secured with the brass nuts.

Gave another full turn on the an fitting on right cylinder lower and then rettached that line

Pressurized again. The two uppers still leaked! So I tightened more thinking that It might be too much but when I checked again...No leaking observed. Turned the compresser up to 40 psi and tested again with favorable results.

I think the lines are ready for fluid now and I feel comfortable that they will work. We will see soon enough!
