This was an issue for me. Where to route the CHT and EGT wiring from EMS fwd thru the fire wall. The wires are a somewhat short length and dont have much room for zig zagging and also how to penetrate the bulkhead in baggage etc. There is a pre punched hole on left side for Rear battery cable runs that I though I could use but the hole is so close to edge that only a snap bushing fits. I wanted to use either a Stainless stel pass thu with fire sleeve or at a minumum a fire/heat shield and those will not fit on that existing hole.
Decided on penitration holes. The baggage left upper panel under my dimmer mod. I drilled that for snap bushing and ran the CHT/EGT wiring harnes thru. Zip tied from hole to the EMS
In baggage area I drilled for two attachment locations for adel clamps and installed on left side along upper longeron and corner gussett.
Decided on firewall location to be in a nice angle for the wire and somewhat out of the way of the brake resivoir and yet enough room for either fire shield That I decide to use.
Installed a temp rubber grommet until my fire shields and pass thrus arrive.
Wrapped an area of the wiring with spiral wrap where it contacts the upper longeron.
