Brief Description: starter and master relay diodes install loosely
installed the surge diodes to the master relay and the starter relay. I first statrted to look for wiring instruction for the ignition and came across the diode with the switch as well as the diodes supplied with either my fwf kit or the dynon ems package. Anyway. The diode from ACS ignition switch Sucks. TThe connectors are poor and one end spun on the wire!! Wasnt going to use that. Fortunately I had diodes from somwhere else as stated above and they are much nicer. Only problem was the master relay diode as it was too short to fit as depicted. I fussed around with this and found that if it were installed on the activation stud under the first nut instead of on top of it and with several washers on the mounting bracket, it fit with 90 degree bend on the mounting stud side.
Mounted the starter relay diode (red color) as shown with out any issues.
