Started the installation of my mid position canopy stop. Its a plunger style and while on taxi, I can pull canopy open and not worry about it sliding all the way back where I cant reach it from the strapped in position. Installed it on the right side roller and measured the difference in hight it takes up. Transfered 3/16 line to the canopy frame Blocked up the frame so I could get to it with my cut off wheel and carefully cut off. Filed flat and deburred and set canopy down. I will need to drill the bolt holes lateraly that will keep the canopy secured to the rail in front and I also need to drill hole or two in the top right side rail in positions where I want the stop(s) to be. Might start that tomorrow along with the latch.
