Brief Description:  Fairing platenuts installed on VS an HS

I started of by installing the 10 k1000 platenuts to the HS for the emp fairing. Squeezed the oops rivits 426-3-4 20 times. Started slow but quickly got the hang of it again.

Flattened all the screw holes in the VS and rand the #27 drill thru again. Deburred.

Used the platenut #6 drill jig and drilled the 12 places for plate nuts. @4 holes to #40. Then deburred them as well.

Ive decided that I want to use SS tinnerman washers on this fairing and this requires a bigger Counter sink. Since the plate nuts ate installed, I cant use the #6 pilot cutters. The #40 cs cutter fits perfectly in the platenut hole and will keep it from wandering. I clecoed the fairing to the HS and started countersinking. Noticed that I could counter sink untill small amts of metal should up and then tinnerman fit nicley. Just needed to scrape the skin slightly for the tinnerman dimple to fit snuggly. Added temp screws to each to verify tight and flush fit.
