Brief Description: Empenage fairing drilled and clecoed
Marked crossing lines with a sharpie on the screw holes in VS and HS that are for the fairing. Taped the fairing in position and started drilling from fwd holes working back. I had drill bit wandering on very first hole so I tried using the hole finder strap. That worked well enough and so I continued with it for all the HS match drilling. The starp was a problem for the VS holes because the fairing too tight. The holes beneath the fairing are easily visible with lighting from other side however. So I simply used a center punch andfollowed with the #40 drill clecoing as I went along. Turned out well enough. There are plenty of gaps to deal with but will worry about that later. Moving on!
