Brief Description:  Engine mount install

Started the install by positioning mount over the 3/16 bolts thru the pre drilled mounting locations. The mount does not fit and I did not expect it to. I was however amazied of how much flex there is in the mount. The predrilled firewall holes mostly were only half visible throu the mounts 3/8 holes and initialy worried me. Many have talked about creeping each hole over to center in the mounts bolt hole. I tried this using a bushing but mostly ended up just drilling away part of the bushing and eventuly going into the original FW hole. On next drill bit up size I removed the bushing and the mount and just drilled the hole up thru a series of nine drill bit sizes and ending with an Undersize 3/8 bit from Avery tool. I bolted mount in place and checked the adjacent hole which still looked in same position and the mount could be manipulated enough to center. Removed mount and did the same as first hole. Reinstall mount and check last two holes. Basicly decided at this point to leave mount off and drill the holes where they are and flex mount on to the bolts. This worked fine. Im not supewr human strong and could manipulate this enough to get it on all four 3/8 bolts with only a plastic mallet needed on one bolt to persuede into position. Im happy with results. Holes appear clean and the last drilling of eac hole with undersize 3/8 reamer made nice looking holes. Should be good.
