Brief Description: sanding cont and reapply micro and super fill tria
Sanded the elevaors, VS, rudder, and tops of HS tips. The HS tips had film of plain epoxy applied yesterday and I noticed some pin holes. Sanded and tried some super fill that I had purchased last year. It goes on easy enough and letting it cure now.
Moved on to the other tips and after sanding I decided to apply anothe thin coat of micro and after it cures try not to sand all of it off next time.
Now about the rudder and VS tip alignment issue..... Like so many other posts, my rudder tip sit lower than the top of the VS tip does. Dang! So, I attached the rudder to VS and set on saw horses, mixed a small amt of flox/epoxy and just gobbed it on the top of the rudder tip untill it looked close to even. I will then start the process of feathering it and bulding it up untill it looks halfway decent.
