Brief Description: More tip glassing and micro layers
Pulled the peel ply from my test rt side elevator. No issues this time. I then rough sanded with 80 grit the topside of both elevators and the two HS tips.
Rivited on the top tip to the VS with 8 CS4-4 pop rivits
Removed the Left elevator and the VS and then prep sanded and cleaned for the application of more glass on the other sides.
Layed in 1.5" 3oz cloth and covered with 2" peel ply on all.
Mixed micro sluuries with west systems 503 grey pigment and applied thin film to the tops of the HS tips over the glass. Also applied to the previosly glassed elevators that cured overnight. I will continue this tomorrow on the other sides.
