Brief Description: firewall battery ground and misc
Drilled a 5/16 hole in firewall location specified in vans fwf wiring drwg. The bolt used was from B and C and is a brass bolt. I like it better than what Vans calls for. Besides, They did not send waht they call for. Surprised? No!
I then attached the supplied cables and boot but left loose. The Wire fro battery ground to stud barely makes it and I think I might need to remove part of the battery top that is used for a carry hold. Its just a bit fo rased plastic and not structural to battery and vans says its ok too. I also had to drill open just slightly the conectors on these cables for the 5016 bolt.
I cut, measured and drilled two #6 screw holes in copper bar to connect my two 10 amp circuit breakers for pilot cigarrette 12v plug and a wig wag flasher unit. I dont like how close I put them to the devices they will operate but if I need to cahnge later, Ill just put an inline fuse further up stream and remove the CB's.
Not pictured is the wig wag flasher unut. I drilled and dimpled for 2 number six attaching screws and attached to the rt lower pilot console with the wig wag switch and cig adapter.
