Brief Description:  Trim servo, relays, stick wire testing and plannin

From the pictures below, one would wonder what took me 3 hours. Well I wonder too but I did spend a great deal of time getting it straight in my head how the stick wires and the trim servo wires and the trim indicator wires will join up at the double relay box. I also spent too much time working different wire paths for the front stick wires.

First: I stripped the tips off the wires for the front stick hat switch wires for aileron trim. Stripped the wires from the aileron trim servo and the indicator light. I hooked up these wires to the relay and to test battery and had good operation of the servo from the stick hat switch and led light indication. I did not test elevator operation thru the hat switch.

second: I determined ( I think) that I will place a six position terminal block on the floor under the foot well and aft of the aileron push tubes. I will glue them down at first thru wire stage and then can rivit inplace if desired later. This term block will be for the front and rear PTT and index buttons from sticks to connect and then a spot for the grounds coming from sticks and then the left and right buttons on the front stick. Thats 5 positions used on one side and leaves a sixth position if needed later. Then all I need to do is bring wires from the panel and intercom etc to the other side of these positions.

third: Since I need a relay for my hatswitch (tolsen) I determined that it too should be close to where the elevator and aileron servo wires come together in the spot under footwells. So I believe I will put the relay close to the terminal block and glue it down as well until wire is done.

fourth: Determined that I need to purchase some 3 conductor 22 awg unshielded wire. Two lengths of 7 feet should be plenty to connect the panel light indicators to the servo wires under footwells. I also believe that the wire harness from the front stick might be on the short side so I will need to add dsub pins with extra wire length to each of the 10 stick wires. That will make it pssible to remove s
