Brief Description: solder headphone and mic jacks front and back
Pics set 1 of 2
1. Soldered the wires on to the lugs of the headphen and mic jacks for front and rear as per the Vans intercom wiring diagram. I Used shrink tube to cover the joints and provide some extra stability to the wire.. Installed the pilot jacks in drilled holes in gear tower. Gib jacks installed in same maner. I purchased some 1/4" plastic plugs and painted grey and installed in the holes I drilled for the mono/stereo switchs. I elected to omitt the switch and just plug up hole.
2. Pictured on set two will show the soldering of the aux stereo input jack in the side center bulkhead
3. I removed the nuts holding switch breakers to the console so that I could pull the console out for drilling a hole forward of switches for a post lamp that will light the swiches when the panel light are on
4. I then drilled hole in the throttle quadrant for my flap switch and installed it. It is below the link rod to rear throttle and will not be an issue.
5. For fun, I tied the wires together for my Aeroled position and strobe light and tested. Cool! Very bright too!
