Brief Description: Assembled the tail wheel to fork aand swivel rod
I got out to the hangar today. It now takes me nearly an hour to drive there and then again home. This will be difficult over the next couple of months for sure. Got a short flight in the Citabria in first and then I set Brenda in motion to inventory the firewall forward kit. While she did that I gathered the parts to assemble the tail wheel. Im just dry fitting them for now. I have a couple of issues with it. First, the castle nut needs to be tightened down too tight for the cotter pin to fit. The wheel wont rotate freely so this needs to be adresed. 2nd problem is I dont have the AN4-14A bolt needed to secure the assembly to the mount. Dont have a clue where it went! So I need to pay for another delivery from Vans i gues. I brought the wire plans home in hopes I can put some sort of plan together to get started.
