Brief Description:  test template for map lights

Drilled a couple switch holes and a coupke map light holes in a piece of scrap aluminum and then mounted them.
Wired the switches to the lights and then the switches to a battery
Tested to see if each light would work independent of the other and also switch from white to red light. It does! My goal is to have them mounted like this and then be able to have a master power switch on console and a dimmer on the panel.
Photo 2 shows how I would only use one row of terminals since these are double throw switches. I can change to single pole if I want to pay shipping costs.
Note: the center connector on each switch is the power term.

I also spent some time removing the packing tape from the aluminum under the skirt area on fuse. it would not pull off and requires lots of MEK or acetone to remove! I got tired after getting about 18 inches removed and will finish some other time. So...... Beware of this stuff!!! Its surface is good for keeping the epoxy from sticking but then is impossible to remove the tape!! Arggg!

I also clecoed in the rudder pedals for prep of the brake lines later
