Brief Description: Added hardware to parking brake stiffiner and adju
This took more time than it should have but....
I drilled the bracket holes up for #8 screws on each end and cs
removed bracket from p brake to get a caphead hex screw thru from behind. I figured i could fit a hex wrench in betwen the exit orts to remove later if required......Wrong! wouldnt quite work and the head rubbed against the exit port too. Plan B... countersunk for flush #8 size
Slightly widened the mounting hole for the parking break in the mounting plate for better fit.
reasembled everything along with the strap and guess what??? The plunge pin was not lining up with the holes perfectly anymore!!! ARGh!!! After several trials and re tightings, It finaly lines up again. I guess there is just enough play in the bolt holes an along with the new starp, Its easy to get off on proper alignment. Ill most likely need to remove it again for final torque and install of brake line fittings but Ill be ready for it.
