Brief Description:  Fuselage center section prep

Before I started on the actual aircraft work, I took some time to organize all of the bolts, rivets, fasteners, etc., that came with the fuselage kit. I figured that spending an hour now might save me a couple later--we'll see. Then I continued to work on the main center section that I began last session. The two bulkheads are connected together by endplates that are first riveted to the skin, then to the bulkheads...doesn't make complete sense, but the plans indicate it makes setting rivets easier later. Because this section of the aircraft is where the wing spars join, the fit is understandably important. The plans call for inserting several bolts in order to ensure that the alignment is perfect. Unfortunately, the "close tolerance" bolts are basically "no tolerance" bolts, and after whacking on them for awhile, I elected to use a small amount of oil to help them into place...once I finally got them in, I drilled all holes and quit for the night. That was three and a half hours?!?
