Brief Description: Parts prep and misc fuselage work
Spent an hour with a Scotchbrite pad and some soapy water getting a pile of parts cleaned up and ready for priming before heading out to the hangar. Once I got to the hangar I decided to finish up the rudder pedal support bracket--a task that required priming, so I set up a spray table and went to work on it. While that part was drying, I set about torquing a number of fuselage bolts and fittings that I hadn't done yet. That took about an hour or so, and with those torqued and marked, I finished up the bracket.
With the rudder pedals installed, I started working on the nylon brake lines that connect the right and left sides. A quick fit to the pedals and trimmed to length, I decided to bring them home to use some boiling water to make it easier to insert the brass fittings. Enough odds and ends for one day.
