We started by shooting the remaining spar-to-leading egde rib 1/8" rivets that I wasn't able to do by myself. I originally planned on using LP3-4 blind rivets, but ran out after two per rib, so I bit the bullet and ground my offset rivet set down to fit the very tight quarters available to work in. As documented on a number of websites, this is one design flaw that I've found...you actually have to grind down a rivet set (or blind rivet puller) just to get these rivets set. We finally got it done and moved on to the skin.
Just after reinstallling the fuel tank, I realized that I had not yet installed the platenuts for the inner most tank Z-bracket, so I'll have to pull the tank off again in order to get that job done. I also still have the inboard rib/skin rivets to set, and the trailing edge rivets...then the wing comes out of the stand for good!
