Today was a long day...I started by deburring and working the edges of the baffle. After this, I re-cleaned all the parts and roughened the baffle with a ScotchBrite pad. Then I sealed and riveted the inboard and out board ribs. Beth helped with several rivets on the inboard rib where I had to use the rivet gun and bucking bar. Then I worked on the baffle, which took a lot longer than I expected--mainly because of all the clecoes that had to be inserted to ensure the baffle fit properly. The Z-brackets went on with relatively little hassle, then all of the skin-to-baffle rivets. Finally, I took my remaining sealant and went around all the edges to ensure there were no gaps...I hope there aren't. The only remaining task is to seal a couple of rivets and the inspection plate...then the dreaded leak check!
