After being out of town for a couple of days and waiting for the replacement flap hinge to arrive, I finally got back to building this morning. The goal for today was to get the right flap hinge replaced and the landing gear mounts installed prior to wing mate tomorrow.
Drilling and dimpling the skin and flap bracket was the first order of business, then cutting and fitting the new hinge was next. After drawing a centerline on the hinge to ensure edge distance, I clamped and drilled it through the skin and bracket. Then I cleaned it up and primed it. Riveting was last and the hinge was done.
Following this I measured and drilled the hole that allows the flap hinge pin to be installed from inboard out on both wings. The wings are ready for installation and I turned next to the gear mounts.
