Brief Description: Drilled leading edge, began tank construction
Began the session by final drilling the leading edge, then started on fuel tank construction. The first step in this process is to construct the Z-brackets that serve as the attach points for the tank on the spar web. The tank skin attaches by a number of bolts to the spar flange, and the platenuts for those attach points were completed early in the wing process. Today I finished six of the seven brackets for the left wing. The next step will be to assemble the tank for fitting and drilling the five holes on the opposite flange.
