Today I decided to finish the prep work on at least one set of ribs. The weather has been really nice, but I can't take a chance it will change (this is Kansas!), so I elected to clean and prep the left wing ribs today and save the right wing ribs for sometime down the road. First I cleaned all the ribs with a mild detergent and water, then wiped everything down with laquer thinner, and finally applied the Vari-Prime...I love that stuff! It was only in the low 50's, but the primer went on with no problems and dried quickly. So now on to left wing assembly!
