After the debacle with the left elevator tabs, I researched the internet for ideas. Based on what I read on the RV builder's group websites, I fabricated a small rib from scrap aluminum, then drilled and dimpled it to fit on the inboard edge of the elevator -- outside edge of the trim tab. It came out great, and I was re-energized. I then bent (correctly) the tabs on the trim tab, and finished fabricating the trim tab.
