After a month of maintaining an insane pace of work, bass playing and family activities, I finally made it out to the hangar on a nice December Saturday afternoon. When I last left the project I was working on fiberglass tips on the right horizontal stab, so I finished that up and then went around to the left side and got that drilled and fitted.
The rudder has a tip that required a bit of trimming to get a good fit, so that took a bit of time, but came out pretty well. Then, after taking a break for a work conference call, I climbed up on the ladder and fitted the vertical stab leading edge. With that, the tips are fitted and now require countersinking and a bit of glass work to close the open sides off. Another day...
