Brief Description:  Interior inventory

Another day of odds and ends as I move towards completion sometime this summer. Today’s activities:
• In order to have a place to lay out the interior parts, I cleaned off the table where I had done most of the electrical work and where the canopy has been stored for the last year or so. With that, the canopy is back on the aircraft. Prior to installing I first reattached all of the #6 screws that secure the sides of the plexiglass in the frame and permanently attached the slider bracket on the top of the fuselage.
• Unpacked and inventoried the Classic Aero interior that I purchased in March. I hadn’t expected it until early May, but it was a nice surprise to get it already. Nothing is installed yet, but so far I’m very impressed with the overall quality of what I’ve seen. Looking forward to getting everything into the aircraft so that I can determine what needs to be painted in the interior…my hope is that it’s not much as I really don’t want to spend a lot of time masking and painting.
• Speaking of painting…I finished putting the “exterior” on the Taj Mabooth by adding a top and then sealing all of the corners with Gorilla tape. If you don’t have any of that, you should get some.
• Removed the stainless steel screws holding the panel in place and replaced them with black cap head screws. The overall look is much better in my opinion.
