Today’s session was abbreviated due to issues at work, but I did manage to get a few more things done before I left. Although I had hoped that all wiring through the center spar was complete, I still had to run 18 AWG for the flap power and ground leads, so I somehow managed to coax those wires through the crowded bushings and left them extra long to allow for flap installation at some point in the future.
I did finally organize all of the wiring runs through the firewall and have that pretty much done. In my application, power from the battery and alternator, as well as a couple of sensor leads (EGT and CHT, not as sensitive to RMI as other leads) runs through the right side. I have all of the primary sensor leads running through the left side and going to the various components on the engine side of the firewall. I really am about done running wires…
