Brief Description:  Misc wiring

I’m taking a couple of weekdays off due to some upcoming travel, so I headed out to the hangar to try and make some progress on the electrical before my trip. I started by adding the aux battery power leads to the GSU 25 and the GDU 465. This entailed opening up the connectors and adding a D-Sub pin to each assembly, and then incorporating those wires into the sub panel bundle. After that was finished, I ran the strobe/nav wires out to the respective wings, pulled wires for landing lights, added a ground for the boost pump, and organized the bundles. Believe it or not, the wire bundle organization took the longest and before I knew it, I had been there for seven hours. Productive session.

The next session will focus on finishing up the remaining wires running behind the panel in order to allow me to secure the bundles and get the riveting done. I’m trying not to be in too much of a hurry, but really need the next few months to get some canopy, windshield and fiberglass work done. That, and I don’t really want to be stuck in the fuselage riveting when the outside temps are over 90 degrees.
