Brief Description:  Finished the lower fuselage riveting!

Big day today! Once again, Steve was kind enough to come over and help me rivet. We finished the right side and then moved over to the left. The W-623 ribs gave me fits--I have no idea what Van's used for a bucking bar on the aft rivets, but I went through my whole collection and never found one that really worked on those two rivets...yikes, we must have spent 15 minutes trying different bucking bars before "just doing it"...it worked, but those aren't two rivets I'll be submitting to "Rivet Digest" for award consideration!! After we finished with the riveting, Jen and Anna came out and we flipped the canoe (hey, that's what Van's calls it...) This thing is finally upright and ready for fitting the top skins, installing fuel and brake lines, installing the interior...lots of work ahead.
