Brief Description:  Aft fuselage riveting

Spent the day riveting the aft fuselage. Not a lot to report other than riveting with a partner goes much faster and I'm pretty sure has less potential for error. The aft tailcone and side skins went pretty well, with only about four bad rivets--those were drilled out and replaced. The "corners" at the bottom were a little tougher due to the distance between the top and bottom of the skins...I was stretching pretty good to get to those at the front.

For the bottom, I had one of my "brilliant" ideas...thought I would back rivet those since I was working alone. I put a sheet down on the floor and had Jen help me move the assembly off of the saw horses to start riveting. After loading and taping rivets in place, I started riveting. The first five went just fine, but then I noticed I couldn't keep the fuselage true to the floor, so there was no way to ensure the rivets were setting properly. So...enough of that, I drilled out a couple of bad ones and put in oversize rivets, then called it a day.
