In my previous post, I mentioned about my communication with Van's regarding adding extra rivets to compensate for some elongated holes. The elongation is only on the aft tailcone skin, which is sandwiched between a fuselage stiffener on the inside, and the F-773 skin on the outside. I wasn't too worried from a structural standpoint, but felt better having a little "insurance", so I added three rivets on each side to ensure the assembly was sound. Now I'll take everything apart for final preparation before riveting.
