After another long layoff I finally got some momentum going again. Today was centered around the control stick mount. This assembly is bolted on the aft side of the F-704E center section and utilizes a number of powder coated parts. Those parts that didn't come pre-finished all got the usual treatment...not worth going into detail again. Sand, clean, prep, and prime. After that, the assembly went together without much problem. I did have to grind the bushings down to obtain a slip fit in the bracket, but otherwise, no issues.
