Brief Description:  Left side wire bundle organization

After yesterday’s session, about the only thing left to do with the behind the panel wiring was to tidy up the bundles on the left side and secure everything to prevent vibration fatigue. Armed with zip ties, a flush cutter, LED light and a bunch of pads and blankets, I climbed back under the panel and went to work. Access in this area is far more difficult than the right side due to the presence of the left control stick, but I was able to make headway and got everything done except for one clamp that will be necessary up towards the firewall to hold the bundle that travels aft along the side of the fuselage.

About halfway through the work the power in the hangar went out, but since I was working deep inside the aircraft it really didn’t affect me much. As soon as the battery in the LED light started to deplete, I climbed out and grabbed my headlamp to continue working. Not sure why I haven’t been using that thing all along…what it lacks as a fashion accessory, it more than makes up for in utility.

When I finished that I installed the MFD for the first time and powered it up...everything works so far!
